چکیده
• Reliable drag model identification: shear-thinning, -thickening, Newtonian fluids. Investigation of temporal phenomena (periodic shape fluctuations). Higher indexes (K, n) mean more sphericity and slow movement in linear path. Model extension for predicting small bubble rise low-viscosity liquids. A study the effects fluid type (shear-thinning, Newtonian, shear-thickening) periodic fluctuations bubbles on coefficient is presented three sizes (2 mm, 4 mm 6 mm), flow consistency ( μ w a t e r , 10 100 ) behavior (0.8, 1, 1.2). Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations were performed addition to previous measurements obtain local data hydrodynamics. The results used evaluate 12 different estimation models, which are essential design columns. Dijkhuizen et al. Bubble Dynamics and Cavitation in Non-newtonian Liquids
Cavitation phenomena play important roles in many areas of science and engineering. The most interesting effect of the non-Newtonian properties of the liquid is the reduction of cavitation damage and noise. This article reviews experimental and theoretical efforts to understand such phenomena. The currently available information favors a description of the observed reduction of cavitation damag...

Analysis of Pseudo-Turbulence Flow Induced by Bubble Periodic Formation in Non-Newtonian Fluids
Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV) has been employed to determine pseudo-turbulence characteristics of the flow field around bubble train forming in non-Newtonian caboxymethylcellulose (CMC) aqueous solution at low gas flow rate condition. The Reynolds stress and turbulent intensity of the liquid were investigated by means of Reynolds time-averaged method. The experimental results show that ax...
متن کاملBubble Rise Phenomena in Non-Newtonian Crystal Suspensions
The characteristics of bubble motion in non-Newtonian liquids are still not well understood because many parameters influence the terminal rise velocity, trajectory and shape of bubbles (Frank, 2003). As the bubble motion is a complex problem, the degree of the complexity increases with bubble size (Kulkarni and Joshi, 2005). When bubble rises through liquid, the most resistance will be imposed...
